2009 Festival of Trees
The 2009 Annual Festival of Trees took place December 4th, 5th and 6th, 2009. There was a nice attendance all three days, with proceeds of over $1,000 going to the Wayne County Empty Stocking Program
It was sponsored by the Allerton-Corydon Chamber of Commerce and was held in the 20th Century wing of the museum.

Visitors to the Festival were greeted by a 10 ft tree in the lobby decorated by Wayne County Historical Society Board.
Almost 30 businesses and organization decorated a tree.
There were three categories, Traditional, Theme, and Humorous.
Gingerbread houses were decorated by school children and adults alike
This creative balloon tree was put together by Wayne County Hospital employee Tony Funk.
The Corydon Red Hats enjoyed the Festival of Trees and posed before a tree.
