"A Taste of Wayne County"
Wayne County Hospital's Grand Reopening Gala Fundraiser
The "Taste of Wayne County" event was hosted at Prairie Trails Museum on October 16th, 2009 from 6-9 pm in the 20th Century Wing of the museum.
Featured at the event, were local restaurateurs and caterers and a delectable spread of their own tasty specialties in addition to fabulous door prizes and giveaways.
The 20th century wing was all decked out and ready for a party on Friday October 16, 2009.
The Heritage Barn was transformed.
The lobby filled up fast as guests arrived.
Main Street looked like an upscale sidewalk cafe.
Guests walked from table to table filling their plate with prime rib, smoked meats, salads, pies, etc.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the evening.
Brian Burnsides was Master of Ceremonies for the evening of games and contests. The following day was the Open House and Ribbon Cutting for the newly remodeled Wayne County Hospital.
